Food waste is a major challenge in the food supply chain. To reduce waste, better planning, collaboration, and digital solutions are needed. That is why Tempcon Group has engaged in a partnership with Foodtel \u2013 a platform that helps companies minimize waste and save food.<\/p>\n
Early in Foodtel’s development journey, we contributed insights and experience from the transport and logistics industry, which became a crucial part of the platform’s continued development. We then initiated a pilot project with one of our companies, Klimat-Transport, to test the solution in practice and measure its impact. The project has now been running for over six months, and we are already seeing great results.<\/p>\n

Tangible Results \u2013 Logistics That Make a Difference<\/strong><\/p>\n The pilot project with Foodtel has delivered clear and measurable results. We have successfully saved 4 tons of food<\/strong> from being wasted. This equates to a reduction of 10 tons of CO\u2082e<\/strong>, demonstrating how the right logistics solutions can lower climate impact.<\/p>\n Additionally, we have preserved 57% of the residual value<\/strong> of products that would otherwise have been discarded \u2013 an initiative that not only benefits the environment but also strengthens the economy throughout the supply chain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWhen we signed the Helsingborg Declaration in 2022, we set a clear goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2030.
