This certification marks a significant milestone in Tempcon Group\u2019s quality work and has already paved the way for increased collaboration within the Group.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">Handling food requires precision, structure, and high quality. That\u2019s why the BRCGS Global Standard for Storage and Distribution Issue 4 certification is such an important milestone. It boosts customer confidence and strengthens the company\u2019s international competitiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">\u201cIt\u2019s a robust and clearly defined standard that aligns more closely with our line of business than our previous certification. It sets clear requirements and is well known internationally, which helps us meet the expectations of both Swedish and international customers,\u201d says Linus Lindstedt, IT and Quality Manager at Sydfrys.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">Designed for real-world operations \u2013 and the future<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">Sydfrys was previously certified under FSSC 22000, but evolving demands and a growing complexity in customer structures prompted the company to shift direction. Work on the BRCGS certification began in November 2024 and proceeded at a rapid pace until the audit in March 2025. The approval was granted in early May.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">\u201cWe\u2019ve worked with strong focus and clear structure. BRCGS is more tailored to our storage and distribution operations and provides a more defined framework, which supports us both internally and externally,\u201d says Linus.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">The certification covers storage of frozen, chilled, and ambient food, as well as contract freezing \u2013 including rapid freezing \u2013 of packaged goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">Stronger together within the Group<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">The process has been characterized by collaboration. Together with Tobias Lundberg at Klimat-Transport \u2013 another company within the Tempcon Group \u2013 Linus helped lay the groundwork for how other Group companies can follow suit.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">\u201cWe\u2019ve developed documentation and procedures in a general format. That allows other Tempcon companies to easily build upon our work for their own certifications. It\u2019s a concrete example of how we work together within the Group,\u201d says Linus.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">A stronger customer offering<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">The BRCGS certification not only strengthens internal quality management \u2013 it also opens up new business opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Barlow;color: black\">\u201cIt provides a clear quality assurance that\u2019s recognized in large parts of the world.
