As of March 1, Tempcon’s subsidiary Klimat-Transport & Logistik from Helsingborg has taken over operations at what was previously B Andersson’s terminal in the old Slaughterhouse area in Gothenburg, strategically located and easily accessible from the E45 with proximity to other traffic flows in the Gothenburg area. The terminal has generous and well-adapted surfaces for handling both chilled and frozen and dry goods.
Klimat-Transport has for over 20 years operated its terminal and warehousing operations in Helsingborg and developed a close relationship with its customers. Committed staff and a willingness to develop climate-smart logistics solutions together with customers has been a successful concept. Now they bring their knowledge with them to develop a sustainable business at their new facility in Gothenburg. The goal is high as they want to create a high-quality facility for food logistics in the Gothenburg area in the same way as they currently operate in Helsingborg. The interest from existing customers in Klimat-Transport has been great before the takeover.
Two salaried employees and two terminal workers will transfer from B Andersson to Klimat-Transport with the takeover of the terminal operations and with their base in Gothenburg. At the same time, B Andersson’s haulage operations have been consolidated with Erling Andersson Åkeri and both vehicles and drivers as well as certain administrative staff change employers, but will continue to depart from Fiskhamnen in Gothenburg. As of March 1, B Andersson’s international traffic is part of Berneco Transport.
